See the canvas size on the wall.
A number in millimetres doesn't tell you how big it feels on a wall. Put it on the wall at its real size and look.

Pick a size and hang it
Drag a card into the view and it hangs at the real size you picked, from the smallest up to the largest standard canvas. You can also hang it at its framed size.
- From the smallest standard size up to the largest
- Switch between the four proportions
- Or type the millimetres directly
- Hang it at its framed size

Include the frame
The work appears with the frame and mat added. The frame takes more wall than the work does, so it is worth looking before you fix the number of pieces.
- Frame width
- Mat width
- Lays out at the outer framed size
- Dimensions appear in the work list

See how many fit
Enter the wall length, lay the works out, and the answer is in front of you. A button spaces them evenly, so you can change the count and try again.
- The count follows from the wall length
- Space them evenly
- Heights align too
- Export with dimension lines

When it helps
- You want to feel how big a given size actually is
- You want to see the balance when sizes are mixed
- You want the outer size before ordering frames
- You need to decide how many pieces this wall takes
FAQ
What is the difference between the four proportions?
The long side stays the same and the short side changes. F (figure), P (paysage) and M (marine) get progressively narrower, and S is square.
What size is a thumbhole canvas?
227 × 158 mm — a little larger than the smallest standard size, and common for small works.
Can I use sizes that aren't on the chart?
Yes. Type the width and height in millimetres. The same goes for photographs, works on paper and three-dimensional pieces.
